Middle School Grading Scale
Grade 6: Letter grades will be averaged. Grade 7: Letter grades will be averaged. Grade 8: Numerical grades, rather than letter grades will be averaged. Achievement is based on actual academic performance on assignments directly related to the curriculum, whereas effort and conduct are based on observed behaviors of the student. A minimum of 65% of the assigned, evaluated work MUST be completed or the student may receive a failing grade for the grading period.
